“Sew Torn” is a feature film directed by Freddy Macdonald and shot by Sebastian Klinger. It’s the full length feature based on the short “Sew Torn”, a six minute film, which was acquired by Searchlight Pictures in 2019 and qualified for the Oscars 2020. The feature version had its world premiere at the prestigious SXSW Film & TV Festival 2024 in Austin, Texas in March 2024. It will be released later this year.
Synopsis: A seamstress gets tangled in her own thread after stealing a briefcase from a drug deal gone bad. In an escalating game of cat and mouse, her different choices lead to drastically different outcomes along the way.
